Nordic Edge invited by Google to ”Google Atmosphere”

Nordic Edge was invited to participate in Google’s cloud computing conference - “Google Atmosphere” - in London in October. Nordic Edge was the only participating partner and we presented our solution for secure login and efficient user administration for Google Apps (www.securethecloud.com). Google had invited over 250 CIO’s from the largest organisations in Europe to attend the event and there was great interest in our solutions. Google had also arranged an impressive list of speakers, including Marc Benioff, Chairman & CEO of Salesforce, Dr Verner Vogels, CTO & VP Amazon, Nicholas Carr, author of “the Big Switch” and Geoffrey Moore, author of “Crossing the Chasm”.

A number of leading organisations participated in a debate/Q&A regarding their experiences in implementing or migrating to a cloud service. Interesting to note that all the companies attending the event had already taken the decision to move to cloud services - the only question was when they would do it and to what extent.
